[Sending a letter to someone without a home is a little difficult. Instead Soundwave will find an image directed toward him. It's from Chise's perspective, a shot of her house from a few paces back.]

Ah, Soundwave? Can you see this?

[She's never actually messaged someone before, has she.]

[If there's anything he was expecting today, it certainly wasn't a shot of a house. He guesses it's Chise's.]

[A short pause.]

Why are you showing me this?

[Should he congratulate her on finding a new home or what?]

[Ah, perfect!]

I was just testing this... I've actually never sent anyone a message yet so... hold on though!

[It's not that far of a walk through. The garage is separated by a stone path between it and the house so soon enough she's facing it. It's done up in much the same style and at least from the outside is decently big. The front is one big door, meant to roll up like most modern garage doors do. Here it's powered with magitech, of course.]

I meant to have you come by around New Years but I went home for a little while and then was sick for a while after so I was distracted.

Um... when we first met, you mentioned you didn't live anywhere, right? So if that's still the case, you can stay here. In the garage, I mean. Since you're... well, no, you're not exactly a car but--

[Well, that's a surprising offer. He initially was going to decline it and say that he's "fine" as he is, but immediately stops himself. Considering the unfavourable weather right now, he has to admit that it's better to have a place to stay now rather than just sleeping somewhere.

There's a moment of pause before he replies.]

How big is the size? ... The bedroom, I mean.

[He wants to judge the size first before making his choice.]

The bedroom is a pretty normal size honestly. I guess it wouldn't work for your regular form... your other form could fit in it though.

[His hologram? That's it, right?]

[.... He's not sure what is considered normal size for humans, but she says it wouldn't fit him and he believes that.]

Hm... I suppose the garage would be feasible.

It's pretty nice actually. I tried to have it built tall enough for you.

[Of course she had to guess there.]

If it's not we can have it adjusted. And you're welcome to build onto it or do whatever you like with it.

[He's not entirely sure how to feel about this though. Chise's a kind person, he knows that, but it's still weird being treated so nicely like this... Even have a place built for him to live.]

That's a good idea. I can show you the rest of the house too, if you like. Or at least the garden and the outside.

[She pauses there. She hadn't intended to put conditions on him living with her and she still doesn't but...]

[If he's to live there, he better know what the rest of the house would look like.]

Part of the reason I built the house is because I wanted anyone who can from my world to feel at home. It's more or less built just like where I live in my own world.

[She's very matter of fact as she continues.]

If I leave some day and any of them arrive after me, I want them to be able to come here. You'll always have a home here as long as you want it and I want them as well as their friends -- and yours too -- to have the same thing.

If I show them to you sometime -- mentally, I mean -- do you think you could tell them that?

[He listens attentively to Chise.]

Hm. I see. [...] If they do arrive, I will tell them. You can trust me on that.

[It's a favour he's willing to do for his friend. This doesn't need to be said, but he'll keep an optic out if he sees any of them in the future.]

[With that, any oppressive aura that may linger for Chise dissipates.]
