I am sorry for the early morning message, but I would like to share an important event that happened to me yesterday. I hope I have not disturbed your rest.

[ Her thumbs shake a bit from the excitement as she taps the words, but there are no typos when she posts the entire thing. She had to spend the next few minutes making sure everything looks okay. ]

I am sure you do remember Sanson, the man we have organized a birthday party over. He and I go a long way back before even my coming to Prismatica, and he was the one who took me on this small vacation to help me de-stress a little.

Yesterday... he had confessed his feelings to me, and I realized that his love is reciprocated. We are a couple now.

That does not change anything about what I had been doing prior to this, though! Ours is an open, non-sexual relationship, in which we both have the freedom to see other people. He knows that I cannot possibly open my heart to only one person. I belong not only to him, but to everyone else: my home country, my late husband, my family, and the lot of you, too.

So... this is what I wanted to share with you, Soundwave, because you are one of my most important friends here, and you deserved to know as soon as possible.

To answer your question: yes, indeed. We can continue everything that we had done together up to now. Though my relationship with Sanson is an important event for me, it does not change the fact I would still love to deepen my intimacy with you.

[This... brings up some conflicting feelings inside him. On the one hand, he's glad they're able to not only continue but deepen their intimacy with each other, keep loving like they normally would. But on the other hand, it's pretty awkward and frankly uncomfortable on his end doing it with someone who has a true conjunx. He doesn't want to say no to future intimacies, but it'd be difficult to act on it either.

It takes a while for him to come up with a reply.]

I see. This is strange to me, normally having a conjunx means you would be unavailable doing that sort of thing with others. I do not wish to get in the way of your relationship with him.

I may need to get used to the idea of continuing our intimacies . [Without feeling super awkward about it.]

[People bidding on Mai has been surprising her the entire event, but the next bid being someone she actually knows is another thing. She looks in Soundwave's direction as if to determine something, and her Iris-induced bunny ears twitch.]

[When he notices Mai is facing at his direction, he waves at her and his own bunny ears twitch, expression stoic as always. The avatar's tentacle hair sways lightly in the air as he comes over to her, the wings on his back, folded.]

[After their first encounter Soundwave had at least check up on her, whether if it's to help with Chroma or get her out to eat.]

Soundwave, it's Lucy...

[Kaede calls herself by her other moniker since she had expressed before that she preferred not to use her real name when speaking through the network.

Her voice is eerily calm at first, but she soon bursts into sobs.]

I-I... I'm pregnant!

[Those don't sound like tears of joy, though. In fact, she sounds pretty hysterical.]

I called because I know you won't judge me, so please just hear me out. I really need someone to vent to!

[Soundwave hadn't expected a call from Kaede, let alone her to suddenly sound hysterical and dropped such huge news on him all of a sudden.

Pregnant? What? How? He's not organic, but he's sure he heard that no Moonblessed could get pregnant here. Did something change? There's a second of pure silence, as his mind grind to a sudden halt, before he speaks to himself.]

That shouldn't be possible, here...

[Odd, but nevermind that for now. Kaede's distress right now, and soon his focus shifts back to his friend.]

I'll hear you out, Lucy. Tell me what happened...

[She didn't miss him muttering to himself.]

I know, right? With all the Moonblessed here and all the sex they're probably having, we've never heard of anyone getting pregnant--[she whimpers]--until now.

I've been wondering if it's due to all the Chroma we've accumulated during our stay on Prismatica... It made all those plants grow in the Nothing, and even before then it made extraordinary things happen. What if allowing Moonblessed to become pregnant is another one of those things?

[It seems like the most logical explanation to Lucy. She interrupts herself again to sniffle.]

What makes it even weirder is that I already have a big round stomach. It progressed faster than a normal pregnancy, so I haven't had any time to come to grips with it.

[Another effect from all the collected Chroma, perhaps?]

[Given that Cybertronians don't tend to deal with pregnancies, he's at a loss at how this came to be. The moonlacings did bring forth life at the Nothing, but he's still unsure if the accumulated Chroma is the cause of this... Perhaps there was something else that could've done this, what's with everyone getting a rune and wanting to mate... The dragons' singing. He's about to voice out the other possibility when Kaede brings down another bomb shell.]

...What?

[So she didn't just find out she's pregnant, but her stomach is also already on such a stage. He's not sure if this is a state of urgency, but he's sort of panicking right now.]

That is... Hm. [He's at a loss.] Where are you right now? I need to see you...

[Kaede had not forgotten about the runes and what they meant, having read up what she could about dragons from the public resources available to them. In her mind, she wondered if they were contributing to her sudden pregnancy too. It was mating season for the dragons, so were the bodies of some Moonblessed reacting likewise?]

Yes. [Is her response to Soundwave's "What?"] I mean, it's not like I suddenly woke up with a round stomach. It progressed in a manner of days. At first, I thought I was just bloated or gaining weight, until I kept growing. I even had morning sickness.

[Which only made her feel even more crummy.]

I'm at my apartment. It would make me feel better if I saw you. I'm terrified by the very idea of having a baby. I have no idea what to do!

[Her voices rises in a panic.]

Merry Christmas and Happy Firalia, Soundwave. Nyuu and I were very puzzled as to what to get you. We thought of just asking you, but on the other hand, we didn't want to ruin the surprise either. So, we decided to bake you some gingerbread cookies. Hopefully we didn't make a mistake and it turns out you don't like gingerbread. Either way, we hope this card finds you in good health. [Such a sweet gift from the girls. Soundwave never had gingerbread before, but after taking the first bite, they do taste good. He would certainly enjoy the rest of the cookies.

But before he does eat the rest, he'll quickly go to his workplace and grab one box of multiflavored chocolate and a large chocolate cake. Both are separately wrapped up in red packages, along with a green ribbon on top of both to go along with the seasonal theme- chocolate never fails to impress anyone, judging by people's reaction he'd seen. ... And he had someone else to help with wrapping the presents for him. It's very last minute, but he'll make up for it by ambushing his friend (whoever's in control at the time) at their place, giving her the presents first, and then covering her face with thankful kisses. [ Unlike everyone else, he doesn't get a package but instead a bunch of gifts under the house's christmas trees. Amongst them are books, special liquids to polish and clean his true body, makeup and hair kits for his avatar, and all those things.

There's also an absolutely scandalous framed picture of herself holding onto a heart saying "I love you" waiting in a package for him. ]
